Sex education for adolescents
The sex education program and lessons for Muslim adolescents are given once a year in April or May. We therefore ask you to reserve a place for your child in time!
Sex education about puberty
The objective of the program is to support Muslim parents with sex education about puberty for their child so that they will later develop positively on a relational and sexual level in accordance with Islamic norms and values.
Muslim parent in sex education
Your child will most likely receive Western sexual education at school, through youth work, the internet and television. But unfortunately not from you as a parent! Starting a conversation about this with your child sometimes proves to be too difficult. While you, as a Muslim parent, play an important role in your child's sexual education and resilience. We understand that it is difficult from different points of view and that is why we offer this 4 half-day program for your child. We help you with this and are a partner in this program for you as a Muslim parent. Explaining Islamic knowledge about sexual education to your child, giving your child tips and tools to be able to have discussions about this with you as a parent is central to the program.
Sex education method
Age group sex education
The sex education method we use is for upper primary education and lower secondary education, which is taught entirely from the perspective of Islam. This method is aimed at preparing your child for puberty, adulthood and everything that has to do with sexuality. A clear link is made from Islamic sources between one's own Islamic identity and Dutch society.
Separate boys and girls working groups
In this method, separate working groups were chosen for boys and girls. Although all topics are covered in both programs, the girls' working group focuses on issues such as menstruation and the religious obligations associated with it, while the boys' working group places more emphasis on issues that are specifically relevant to them. Because we work with separate working groups, your child is more likely to dare to ask questions about relationships and sexuality, your child becomes more resilient and media-savvy and your child learns to interact respectfully with the opposite sex.

We are not a commercial institution but are a self-organization that does not use or request government subsidies. We are a foundation that, when necessary, raises collections and asks for financial support and donations from its community. Our foundation will also organize benefits when the need is dire or progressive to safeguard the Islamic identity of Dutch Muslims. Our foundation also works as much as possible with its own working capacity, are free, independent and unbound and rely only on Allah as the Only Provider.
